 Really enjoyed this chat at the Ake Arts & Book Festival about how  to move beyond a long history of Western distortions about Africa as  writers,moderated by Ruona J. Meyer. After 38 minutes in, when I gave  too much away about one of my stories in 'Lagos: Supernatural City',  Ruona said, "I need to stop you there. It's a lapdance, Tim. You need to  leave a bit of mystery. And now you're already flinging your g-string  over." 🤣
